As one of its chief objectives, the Spanish Geographic Society would like to create a publishing house which would serve to: publicize its aims; re-edit works relating to travel; recuperate the heritage of Spanish publishing that has been lost over many years; publish studies of forgotten Spaniards who have made important contributions to geography, travel, anthropology, etc.; publish works of members that the Editing Council deems opportune and lastly, the SGS Bulletin.
