The SGS Image Award is presented to the best piece of work on geography or travel completed in the field of television, photography, video, cinema or any other technology the world of image. Not only is technical quality taken into consideration, but also the driving spirit behind the work.

2004. To Hugo Geiger and Francisco Candela, they have worked on documentaries, books and photographs on the depths of the sea over the course of 30 years. Their work under the sea has been recognized with numerous national and international awards.
